What it is
Mapping your existing processes and identifying where AI can cut the most admin overhead. PMP-certified project delivery with a practical lens on AI-powered automation: quick wins first, then sustainable transformation.
Who it is for
Teams carrying heavy admin load, where technical specialists or operations staff spend time on work that a well-chosen workflow or AI tool could take over.
Proof from the field
- 20% of admin time reclaimed by deploying a CRM platform, which let technical specialists focus on higher-value business development activities.
- PMP, Project Management Professional (PMI, 2025), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (SMU, 2021) and Business Workflow Automation with AI (NTUC LearningHub, 2025).
- Example engagement: an AI agent for a business owner who buys items himself. He records each purchase and the agent sends it straight to the finance team, so claims worth $1,000 or more a month are no longer missed.
- The approach in practice: a live five-page website shipped in 21 hours under hackathon conditions. Read the story.
Who you work with
Francis Lee spent 30 years at Sealed Air Corporation, rising from Engineering Assistant to Director, and is PMP-certified. APACEdge is his independent consulting practice, based in Singapore and serving clients across Asia Pacific.
In practice
Before the change, the owner had to fill in forms for each purchase. Because of a busy schedule, many were never submitted, so payments were missed or spending was not tracked. After the change, he sends a screenshot of the purchase to the agent and all the information is tracked properly.
Francis uses the same approach on his own work. He built an agent that scans his email every day at 6 pm and produces a report of which messages need action and which do not. Going through email one by one used to take 45 to 60 minutes. It now takes under 5 minutes, which frees time for higher-value work such as building agents.
How an engagement works
- First contact: Francis speaks with you, learns what you need and what is not working today, and suggests several options for you to review.
- Week 1: identifying the pain points. A common issue clients arrive with is data readiness, so this is checked early.
- What you get: it depends on the need, from straightforward verbal advice to a simplified workflow supported by an AI agent built on Claude.
- Timeline and price: typically within a month, depending on complexity. Pricing scales with the complexity of the project, from a few hundred to several thousand Singapore dollars (SGD). Complex projects use a retainer so the solution sticks.
- Who it is usually for: business owners, who decide whether to invest in AI.
- Delivery: remote or on-site, in English or Chinese, and Francis will travel to any country if needed. Based in Singapore, taking projects globally.
